BLUE BUDDHA FRENCHIES — THE PUPPIES ARE HERE
Thoughtfully Planned. Carefully Raised. Worth the Wait.
We are taking deposits now on our upcoming pairings, with only a few spots in each, and our newest litters have arrived. Our Available Puppies page always shows what is open right now, which pairings still have room, and which puppies are looking for homes. Reach out if you would like to be next in line.
Our Family
Family-Raised Puppies
We don't just raise puppies. We raise family. Our family of eight socializes every litter from birth, ensuring a lifetime of love and companionship. When you buy a Blue Buddha Frenchie, you're welcomed into our family forever.
COAT COLORS
The Colors and Coats We Produce
Some of our dogs carry the dilute gene, which can make blue puppies. Demand for the blue-gray coat is overwhelming, and our Lulu x Marty McFly pairing is expecting blues, chocolate, and black brindle.
Across our girls you will also find red fawn and black brindle in Astoria and Petunia, and the platinum new shade in Solstice.
Coat color DNA analysis is part of the panel we run on every breeding parent, so we know what a pairing can produce before we plan it rather than finding out at birth.
We also breed fluffy French Bulldogs, the long-coated variety that comes from a recessive FGF5 variant. Fluffies are not always available and we will not rush a pairing to create one.
PRICING
What a Blue Buddha Frenchie Costs
Blue Buddha puppies start at $4,500. Final pricing depends on the individual puppy's color and DNA, so a blue or a fluffy will not be priced the same as a fawn.
A $1,000 non-refundable reservation deposit holds your place and comes off the final purchase price. It is not an extra fee.
HEALTH TESTING
What "Health-Tested" Means Here
Health-tested is a phrase every breeder uses, so here is exactly what it means here.
Every breeding parent gets a veterinarian-performed physical evaluation of the hips and patellas, a BOAS assessment for breathing function, and targeted DNA screening for Cystinuria Types 2 and 3, Hyperuricosuria, Juvenile Hereditary Cataracts, and Canine Multifocal Retinopathy 1.
Those results sit alongside structure, temperament, pedigree, and what we know firsthand from seven generations of our own bloodlines.
No screening can promise a dog will never develop a condition, and we will not tell you otherwise. It lets us make better decisions about which dogs to put together, which is the part we can control.
GO-HOME DAY
What Comes Home With Your Puppy
Every Blue Buddha puppy goes home vet-checked, vaccinated, dewormed, and microchipped, with complete health records and our written 12-month health guarantee. Coverage, exclusions, and claim requirements are set out in the purchase agreement, so you can read them before you commit rather than after.
Every puppy is also introduced to litter box training before go-home day, which makes the first week in your house considerably easier than it would otherwise be.
Our relationship does not end at go-home. Blue Buddha families can reach us for guidance for the rest of their Frenchie's life, and most of them do.
DELIVERY
Getting Your Puppy Home
Families near us collect their puppy in Knoxville.
For everyone else, we have sent puppies across the country with our puppy nanny, who travels in the cabin with them. Never cargo.
We coordinate the details and you get updates along the way.
If you are three states away, that is a logistics question, not a reason to look elsewhere.
